Ingredients

2 large onions, thinly sliced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp sugar

3 eggs

¾ cup (180ml) Even Fresh UHT Whipping Cream 35% Fat

½ cup (120ml) milk
-
100g goat cheese, crumbled

1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves

Salt and black pepper to taste

EBP Frozen Savory Round tart shells coated with egg
For the ganache filling
Directions
Preparation of the filling
In a pan, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until soft.
Add sugar and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until caramelized.
In a bowl, whisk eggs, cream, and milk. Add salt, pepper, and thyme.
Assemble & bake
Spread the caramelized onions over the pre-baked EBP tart.
Pour in the egg mixture and top with crumbled goat cheese.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until set and golden.
Let cool slightly before serving.
